Cloud Ten Pictures has announced a continent-wide talent search to fill at least one of six roles for the new Left Behind television series that will debut in 2003. Open casting auditions will be held on December 13th-14th in Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Toronto, and Montreal. Additional cities will be announced in December.

“All six of the roles we’re looking to fill are lead roles that are essential to the series,” says Lalonde. “They are all significant speaking parts representing a great variety of ages and ethnicities. What we’re looking for is that person, or persons, who have the gifts necessary to impact a nation with their performance. It may be a veteran actor or someone with considerably less experience. Experience comes second to raw talent.”

Casting agents will be on-site to videotape all auditions, evaluate all performances and then forward their top choices to Cloud Ten’s head casting agent in Toronto. Sides (script sections to be used for auditions) will be posted on the Cloud Ten corporate website ( Selected finalists will be flown to Toronto for one final audition before a final selection, or selections, is made. All hopefuls are asked to bring a photo of themselves to the open auditions. Resumés are also welcomed but not necessary.   • 13 to 16-year-old male or female of any ethnicity,
  • 17 to 22-year-old Caucasian female,
  • 22 to 32-year-old African American male,
  • 25 to 35-year-old female of any ethnicity,
  • 35 to 45-year-old Caucasian male,
  • 50 to 65-year-old African American male.
