"Abilene's Child/Tormented Hope" by Susie Hortman is a story about four generations of incest and violence and how, when I was four years old, Jesus Christ came into my life and gave me comfort and hope to survive incest, rape, beatings, neglect, starvation, adoption twice, attempted suicide in the third grade, attempted suicide in early 20's, and the broken cycle through Jesus Christ. I have a wonderful story that I present to the public. I have spoken at Big Spring State Hospital. Ed Moughan (Superintendent---432.268.7222) will be able to describe my presentation and the effect on the audience. I was really sharing the "Glory of God" and His goodness. It was fantastic.
