Mel Gibsons movie “The Passion of the Christ” is now available
for church events. Non-theatrical distributor Swank has timed this release to coincide with the season of Lent, Passover and Easter. Churches may obtain a Public Performance Site License to legally show the film through Lent and the upcoming year in large church gatherings, small groups, Bible Studies and outreach opportunities. Swank Motion Pictures, Inc. has been authorized by Mel Gibsons Icon Productions to distribute this exclusive license to churches which permits churches to be compliant with U.S. Copyright Law while publicly exhibiting a Home Use Only DVD or videocassette of “The Passion of the Christ” that is purchased or rented from any legal source.
