“God Stories” released

January 7th, 2005

GS Productions of Langley, British Columbia (Canada) has released a direct-to-DVD production titled, “God Stories: The Series.” The purpose is to record amazing accounts of God invading every-day life. Inspiring true stories are told by five people who lived them. “God Stories” includes dramatizations, photos and other documentation. (This production is not to be confused with the Christian evangelism film “God’s Story ”produced by Dorothy Miller and distributed by ChristianAnswers.Net.)

“God Stories” was conceived by camera operator and film production worker Trent Reynolds. In February 2003, he was driving a co-worker home when he became gripped with despair and fear. I had never experienced anything like that before, Reynolds said. After dropping his passenger off, Reynolds began to pray-and “God Stories” was born.

“As I drove away, I immediately began to see and be deeply impacted by pictures of people telling me their stories about God, Reynolds said. The dark depression that had engulfed the car completely lifted. I kept seeing people telling me their God stories, and felt hope, life and truth bubbling up inside of me. I knew I had to share what I had just experienced.”

“God Stories: The Series” Volume 1 includes a mix of testimonies from both well-known and completely unknown Christians. International speaker and author Graham Cooke share one of his experiences on the same DVD as Langley, B.C. homemaker and piano teacher Laura Rowden. Greater Vancouver Youth for Christ director Andy Harrington, Edmonton pastor Ruth Rousu, and Abbotsford prophetic school director Murray Dueck are also featured.

“These are just five of the thousands of God stories that are inspiring and provoking individuals around the world to a deeper faith in Him,” said Reynolds. “My heart and vision is to share the stories of God interacting with His people, giving hope to the hopeless.”

More DVDs are planned for 2004. As God interacts with His people, miracles happen, Reynolds said. The stories are all around us, just waiting to be told.
