Joshua—the movie“Joshua,” the anticipated major motion picture based on Joseph Girzone’s international best-seller and produced by Epiphany Films, made its debut in select cities on April 19, 2002. Versatile actor/director Tony Goldwyn (“Bounce,” “An American Rhapsody,” “Ghost”), stars as a charismatic stranger whose arrival has a profound impact on a small town, bringing the community together in unforeseen ways. Directed by Jon Purdy (“Star Portal,” “Dillinger and Capone”) with a screenplay by Brad Mirman and Keith Giglio, Joshua also stars Academy Award-winner F. Murray Abraham (“Finding Forrester,” “13 Ghosts,” “Amadeus”), and screen legend Giancarlo Giannini (“Hannibal”).

The 16-track compilation on Word Records features six originally recorded songs specific to the movie Joshua by distinctive artists Jaci Velasquez, Pete Orta, Point of Grace, Michael W. Smith, Brooks & Dunn, and Nicole C. Mullen with Mark Schultz in an exclusive duet. The album also boasts songs by Dove Award-winning Third Day, Rachael Lampa, Cindy Morgan and Anointed. Word Records released the soundtrack on April 2nd.
