Blessed Child, the bookGener8xion Entertainment is best known for its Christian blockbusters “The Omega Code,” “Megiddo: Omega Code 2,” and “Carman the Champion.” While 8X has announced that it has 8 other film projects on the drawing board, next in line is Blessed Child. If you recognize the name, perhaps you are already familiar with the novel of the same name from Christian authors Bill Bright (of Campus Crusade for Christ) and Ted Dekker.

Lowell Paxson, Chairman of PAX-TV, calls Blessed Child “the best novel I’ve ever read.” The story focuses on a 10 year old boy named Caleb who has extraordinary powers that raise the dead and heal the sick. Enemies arise that wish to get rid of Caleb due to the threat he poses to them, so it’s up to relief worker Jason Marker and a French Canadian nurse (Leiah) to help the boy survive as they smuggle him out of Ethiopia and into America where yet more trouble awaits.
