Screen hits go under the knife

Dove Family Approval Seal

New Line Cinema, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. has ‘cut’ a deal with The Dove Foundation, a family watchdog for family entertainment, by submitting edited video releases for the Dove family friendly seal of approval. Screen hits “The Mask,” “The Bachelor,” “Lost in Space,” & “Blast From the Past” went “under the knife” and is now profanity, violence, & sex-free.

If the sales of these titles do well, it could open the door for more hit films to receive a ‘trimming.’
